Survey Looks at New Chinese Law Restricting Work of Foreign NGOs

Many of our members have been following legislation in China that will create new regulatory controls for foreign non-governmental organizations (NGOs) operating in the country.

A broad range of NGOs, including educational organizations, may be affected. (This New York Times article describes recent developments.)

With that in mind, AmCham China is circulating a short survey. This is a good opportunity to express any concerns you may have about the new law. The aggregated results are likely to be shared with Chinese officials as part of efforts to convey the views of organizations like yours to Chinese policymakers. Respondents will be anonymous.
