New College Board Service Provides Additional Admissions, Student Advising Resources
The College Board’s new Landscape service will be in wider use during the 2019-20 admissions cycle, the organization announced last month.
Landscape, which the College Board has piloted over the past three years with colleges and universities, is intended to give high schools, parents, students and colleges a new and transparent way to evaluate and understand an applicant’s achievements in the context of the opportunities available to them.
While mainly intended to be used as an additional resource during the admissions process, Landscape has also been considered by some schools as a way to inform student advising.
