Webinar: Navigating the Legal Issues of Residence Hall Life
ACE is co-sponsoring an upcoming webinar presented by the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA) on “Navigating the Legal Issues of Residence Hall Life.”
The event, slated for Aug. 15 from 12-2 p.m. EDT, will look at best practices for addressing common legal issues as colleges and universities re-open their residence halls to students in the fall. Specific topics will include:
- Proper training and support of residence hall staff;
- How to manage student affairs issues specific to on-campus housing;
- Enhancing relationships between residential life and other university departments; and
- Effective enforcement of an institution’s residential and other student conduct policies
The webinar will be of interest to attorneys who advise higher education institutions with residence halls on student affairs issues as well as other university administrators who manage campus housing and related student affairs departments.
