Title: The Learner Revolution: How Colleges Can Thrive in a New Skills and Competencies Marketplace

Technology, as well as persistent changes to the college landscape, have transformed the interaction between students and postsecondary education compared to years before. A recent white paper by the Education Design Lab discusses how the current system of postsecondary education often fails to meet the needs of the many of today’s college students, and provides considerations for a Learner Revolution, in which the current system of postsecondary education should reimagine the system in which it prepares students for professional success.

The paper also outlines five models which identify how many of the nation’s innovative colleges and universities are re-envisioning their delivery of postsecondary education by using their individual strengths and a human-centered design approach.
