Resources for Students and Families About Financial Aid

As the federal student loan rates increase today, here are a few pages with resources for students and families on paying for college:

The office of Federal Student Aid at the U.S. Department of Education website offers a great deal of information on applying and paying for college, as well as filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators’ website features a series of pages for students and parents. Through videos, short narratives and graphics, NASFAA discusses the basics of financial aid on the federal and state levels, tax breaks, cutting costs and more.

If you’re interested in getting involved and learning more about the issue, check out the Student Aid Alliance, a coalition of 77 higher education organizations united in support of federal student aid.
